Discord Resolution – Standard Escalation Pathway:
- Direct Communication with Teacher: Initiate a polite, constructive conversation with the teacher to understand their perspective and clarify the issue. Establish a follow-up date.
- School Principal/Administrator: Escalate to the school principal by presenting the concern in writing, outlining the problem, and requesting a meeting. Establish a follow-up date.
- OBCA Board: Escalate to the board by presenting the concern in writing, outlining the problem, and requesting a meeting. Establish a follow-up date.
Board Meetings

If you wish to address the Board, contact the office or a Board Member requesting to be added to the Agenda for the next Board Meeting. Spokesperson can expect to have the floor for 2-3 minutes. If you are unable to condense your topic to the mentioned timeframe, please consider writing and submitting a letter to the Board a week before the meeting.
